Barranco

Barranco is well know as the Bohemian District of Lima. In the past and even still today, it’s the proud home of many of Peru’s famous intellectuals, artists, poets and musicians.

The district has many great restaurants and is particularly famous for its many “peñas”, venues featuring the traditional folk music, or “música criolla”, of Peru.
